Woman jailed for harboring fugitive
Elizabeth Donnelly was jailed on June 24 and faces preliminary charges of harbor felon, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and under the influence of a controlled substance after deputies with the Nye County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to assist with a parole and probation arrest at an address on Galaxy Street for a wanted person.
The wanted person was subsequently identified as Zackery Crabtree.
When deputies arrived, they reportedly discovered that Crabtree was inside the bedroom closet of the residence and the residence belonged to Donnelly.
As deputies made their way into the bedroom they observed a pipe and a bong in plain view.
When deputies spoke to Donnelly, they reportedly noted that she was unable to stand still and was twitching while in handcuffs. Donnelly stated to deputies that she had not used methamphetamine in approximately three months but did admit to smoking marijuana.
After deputies obtained a telephonic search warrant for the home they recovered several glass pipes with white residue and several pipes with an odor of suspected burned marijuana residue as well as several loose pills which were subsequently identified as controlled substances.
Donnelly was arrested and transported to the Nye County Detention Center, booked on the above charges and held on $20,640 bond.
At the jail, Donnelly reportedly admitted knowing that Crabtree was hiding in her closet and that he was not allowed to be around her as a condition of his probation.
Wanted fugitive found in closet, arrested
Zackery Crabtree was arrested on June 24 and faces preliminary charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to a call for assistance from parole and probation at an address on Galaxy Street.
According to the arrest report, Crabtree was in violation of a lifetime supervision condition of his probation.
Deputies located Crabtree inside the closet of the bedroom and arrested him.
Deputies then obtained a telephonic search warrant for the residence and found several glass pipes with white residue and several pipes with an odor of suspected burned marijuana residue as well as several loose pills which were identified as controlled substances.
Crabtree was transported to the jail and booked and held on $10,640 bond.
