2 deaths in Pahrump investigated as murder-suicide

Official autopsy results are pending involving an apparent murder/suicide in Pahrump late last month.

A Nye County Sheriff’s Office news release stated that deputies were dispatched to a home on the south end of town to check the welfare of an elderly couple on Sept. 28, at approximately 5 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found the male, identified as Frank Wolf, 71, and a female identified as Susan Arvanitis, 70, both dead inside the home on the 3000 block of Ward Court.

“The scene appeared to be a homicide/suicide and autopsy results are still pending,” the release stated. “However, preliminary results are consistent with a murder/suicide. The investigation is ongoing.”
