BACKGROUND: “I have been in the floral industry for most of my life. It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing this for over 36 years. It’s really something that I truly enjoy doing. It requires a little bit of creativity and patience.”
FIRST JOB: “I started working full time in 1978 when I was 11. It was a family business of four generations in Colton, California.”
YEARS IN BUSINESS: “I have been at this location for about seven months when I opened in March. We can create exciting and beautiful arrangements to express your heartfelt sentiments.”
PERSONAL: “I seem to have knack for refinishing furniture and I have been having a lot of fun with that. It’s the quirky things that a lot of people do not do. I like quirky because it works well for me.”
BUSINESS CLIMATE: “It’s been kind of slow for me as of late. I think that the cold weather we’ve had has kept a lot of people indoors. It’s like most other businesses in town. There will be good days and days that could have been better. But I still love my profession.”
