More of the same. That’s what Pahrump residents should expect weather-wise over the next several days.
The National Weather Service said that the seasonally warm temperatures should stick around for much of the next week.
“There could be a slight cooling trend over the weekend, especially Saturday, as we get a fairly thick batch of high clouds moving across, blocking some sun,” said John Adair, National Weather Service meteorologist. “It really looks like we’re going to have very little change through Tuesday.”
High temperatures will range between 80 degrees today and 74 degrees on Tuesday, before a disturbance moves through the valley, cooling temperatures off.
“On Wednesday we expect a system to move into the area, with gusty southwest winds developing Wednesday, with cooler temperatures,” Adair said. “It will last until Thursday, but it will be a quick-moving system and will probably be just a wind producer and cooler temperatures.”
Adair went on to say that any precipitation associated with the weather system will stay to the north, up around Tonopah.
