Age: 40

Years in business: “I have been doing this since 2012.”

Background: “I am a 21-year Air Force disabled veteran. My father was in the Marine Corps and I originally was thinking of doing the same thing, but instead I went into the Air Force to pursue a technical field.Through the military I got into collecting challenge coins. A friend of mine had a big business designing/retailing these coins. He was getting rid of his business and he asked me to help him liquidate his stock and that’s how I got into the military collectible business. I now have started my own collection, where I sell my military collectible designs on my website and eBay store. I sell miniature military aircraft with historical badges/patches on them. ”

First job: “My first job was working at a Winn Dixie in Virginia.”

Personal: “I play pool to unwind. I try to play at least once a week. My team in Las Vegas has made Nationals three out of the last four years.”

Business Climate: “I got started in this business because of my military connections and seeing how my friend did so well selling challenge coins. My military background has paid dividends!”
