Three-vehicle collision on Homestead sends two to hospital

At least two people were transported to Desert View Hospital following a three-vehicle collision on Homestead Road west of Gamebird Road just before 8 a.m., on Tuesday. Nye County Sheriff’s deputies halted traffic in both directions on Homestead Road while crews worked to clear the scene. Heavy fog and slick road conditions contributed to the collision. The injured parties are expected to recover from their injuries.
