Defending state champion Clark rolled into town like a big storm. Local fans just had to wait to see how much damage would be done. That was the way Trojans Coach John Toomer saw it. He just didn’t know what the damage was going to be. Clark (4-1 overall, 1-0 Sunset League) won big, 73-29.

Beatty volleyball is going to state. The Hornets are on their way to Reno this Friday to play in their first state tourney since 1998. The last time Beatty won state was in 1993.
