Nye County Emergency Services Director Vance Payne admitted he initially took a leap of faith when commissioners previously considered awarding a contract to Susan Cronin, owner of Tail’s End, the sole bidder to run the Pahrump animal shelter.

Hornets split against Word and Tonopah
