A small club in Pahrump is bringing local kids and adults smiles with their model trains, making the countless horus of work worth it for the participats.
Homeschool students of Pahrump and the surrounding areas were invited to celebrate the start of a brand new school year with their very own homecoming dance — the Steampunk Soiree.

There’s a lot happening this weekend preceding the Pahrump Fall Festival scheduled for next weekend. Most of the events are taking place before and after the festival to avoid competition.
Live music and a fundraiser are on tap for the weekend. Tickets for upcoming events are on sale and Spring Mountain State Park wants you to know about its events as well.
It’s a known fact that most of Pahrump’s new bands are comprised through migration of musicians. They all know each other and when band members leave one group, they find either another band to join, or form something new with other musicians who have left their groups.

It’s going to be a slow weekend with the Labor Day holiday, however Golden Casino Group picked a prime opportunity to debut the new Lakeside Casino & RV Park from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
