The Nevada State Horseshoe Pitching Association held its “Spring Has Sprung” tournament on March 11.

The Pahrump Valley Trojans began their season on Monday night with a 10-5 win on the road against the Needles High School Mustangs in a non-league game.
The event featured four schools from the Southern Nevada area – Pahrump Valley High School, Liberty High School, Desert Oasis High School and Slam Nevada.
The horsehoes competition had 20 participants making up 10 teams in a double-elimination style tournament.
