Kelby Lindberg led his team against Western last Monday with a 9-over par 81. Lindberg finished in tenth-place overall and Pahrump took second place with a 427. Faith Lutheran finished with a 377 in first and Spring Valley finished in third place with a 431.

Both track teams finish in top 10 at Arbor View meet

The Pahrump track team was at the Arbor View Invitational in Las Vegas on Friday. The invitational was one of the largest of the year with 37 teams competing. The Trojans competed against Division I, I-A, III and IV schools.

The Trojans softball team pounded Western 26-1 on Tuesday on the road. Pahrump (11-7 overall, 4-4 Sunset League) didn’t waste any time getting on the board and were up 8-0 in the first inning.

Aging baseball field seeks some much needed attention

Pahrump Valley High School’s aging baseball field was addressed at the last Nye County School Board meeting on Tuesday night with a presentation made by concerned parents and the school baseball team as over 20 parents and baseball team members gathered in the board chambers to let people know that the baseball field is unsafe to play on.
