The Trojans baseball team had some playoff jitters its first game, losing to Virgin Valley 3-2 on Tuesday at home, but then settled down in the second game against Desert Pines on Wednesday, beating the Jaguars 8-5.

Trojans softball had already won the league championship going into the game, for Mojave already had lost two games, but since it was the last league game it was fitting that the girls celebrate after beating the second-place team on May 4, 10-0.

A Youth Sports Experience – Summer 2017 is a sports performance program offered to improve/develop each athlete’s talent and character into ability and presence.

The Trojans boys and girls track teams were at the Grant Bushman Invitational in Moapa Valley on May 5 to prepare for the regional meet which starts on May 12. The regional meet will also be at Moapa Valley.

The Trojans softball team won its first two playoff games at home, beating the Chaparral Cowboys (number four Sunrise team) 8-7 and downing the Moapa Valley Pirates (number two Sunrise team) 17-11 on Wednesday.
