TONOPAH — A retired Nye County Sheriff’s sergeant who traveled the nation has parked his RV in Tonopah once again to coach the Muckers baseball team.

The time of hunting and fishing conventions has come to an end and the hunting guides-outfitters have returned home to prepare for another season. Defendant sentenced in death of man in Nye County

The Nye County District Attorney’s Office announced that on July 16, Jeremmy Burch was sentenced pursuant to a plea agreement in Tonopah District Court for the murder of James Remster, whose body was found in an abandoned mine shaft earlier this year, the DA’s office said in a news release.
