It was a quick trip to the Class 3A state tournament for the Pahrump Valley softball team as the Trojans were beaten 12-2 by Churchill County and 8-0 by Lowry.

 
Spring Mountain gets green flag on Pahrump expansion

The Spring Mountain Motor Resort &Country Club has gotten the green flag, so to speak, by the Nye County Commission to expand the race facility’s racetrack. Upon completion, Pahrump will be home to the longest track in the world—stretching further than the famed 13.1-mile long Nurburgring Grand Prix in Nurburg, Germany.

The Pahrump Valley baseball team’s bid for a spot in the championship game came up short Friday when the Trojans fell 6-4 to Elko in the losers bracket final of the Class 3A state tournament at Galena High School in Reno.

Hopkins offering basketball camp at Pahrump Valley
