TONOPAH — A retired Nye County Sheriff’s sergeant who traveled the nation has parked his RV in Tonopah once again to coach the Muckers baseball team.

BEATTY — The General Tire Vegas to Reno Race organized by Best in the Desert started in Beatty, went through Tonopah and finished in Dayton close to Reno.
Jason Voss says racing has been good to him this year. His team has taken two major races in the Best in the Desert series.
