Fire claims life of Pahrump man

The fire broke out at a residence on the 4000 block of East Ashley Avenue at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28. The area did not have fire hydrants, which challenged fire crews who were forced to transport water to the scene.
