He said on paper that his boys “would be close.” It was — and the Trojans squeaked by the Faith Lutheran Crusaders on their home turf 74-71 on Wednesday afternoon.
Trojans baseball, since the one defeat to Faith Lutheran, keeps piling on the victories. On Wednesday afternoon they took it to Cheyenne and beat them 8-1 on the road.
On paper the two teams were even, both teams had lost to Cheyenne and Faith Lutheran and both teams had beaten Western and Clark, but that is where the similarities stopped. Pahrump proved this by beating the Mojave Rattlers at the plate 12-3.
