The team went undefeated to finish in first place and become the champs of Mojave Mayhem. They beat Canyon Springs 55-12, Del Sol 52-27, Sierra Vista 61-15, Bonanza 72-3, and Mojave 48-19.
The Beatty Hornets men’s basketball team completely destroyed Lund at home last Friday 87-11. The win came easily for the Hornets, so much so Hornets Coach Joe Serrano said, “I knew we had the game in the bag after the first two minutes of the game,” he said. “We had a 14 point lead to 0 in the first minutes of the game.”
If your horse is acting up, perhaps the best thing for it is to send it to the military for boot camp. In all seriousness, that is usually what happens to young human beings. When they are acting out, we give them more structure by either sending them to boarding school or military school.

Shayla Dance has quietly grown into a huge asset to the Lady Trojans volleyball and basketball programs. She is a varsity player in both programs who has slowly been developing into a premiere athlete at the high school level.
This week both Trojans basketball teams will be playing Clark on Wednesday and Cheyenne on Friday in intense away action. The Trojans will definitely have their hands full in competing against two of the toughest teams in the conference.
Pahrump has a fencing club? That’s usually the general reaction when the subject comes up, but the town really does have one and it has been around for at least two years. There may only be three in the class, but it exists nevertheless.
