The Beatty Hornets were in action twice last week and came out of the two games with one win and one loss.
Pahrump resident Marvin Caperton made the trip to the Huntsman Senior Games in St. George, Utah last week and brought home two medals, gold in the 50-meter dash and silver in the 100-meter dash.
Beatty lost to Indian Springs 31-20 and may have dashed their hopes of a playoff birth. In order for Beatty to make the playoffs, the team will have to play with a lot of heart against Spring Mountain on Nov. 1.
Trojans football is headed to play the Western Warriors today at 7 p.m. The Warriors have not won a game this year.
Three Trojans on the womens golf team made it to regionals, which was held this year at Boulder Creek Golf Course on Thursday. The results of the Tournament will be posted on Wednesday.
