The Pahrump Valley track team got back to business Tuesday afternoon with a midweek meet at Desert Oasis High School. Five schools – Pahrump Valley, Desert Oasis, Bishop Gorman, Spring Valley and Awaken Christian – from the 3A, 4A and 5A divisions competed in the meet.
Tonopah has held all six opponents to five runs or less, while they have scored 20 or more runs in four of the six games.

The Southern Nevada Horseshoe Pitching Series kicked off another season over the weekend with their first tournament taking place in Chloride, Arizona.
The Lady Muckers are now 4-0-1 after their win last week. This is the second consecutive season Tonopah has won four of their first five games to start the season.
The team started slow but came alive in the final inning.
