The Lady Muckers will be fighting for the Division IV Nevada State Championship tournament this weekend in Reno. Although making the state tourney for the second time in a row is big, the Muckers want to win it.
The Tonopah wrestling team was represented by three wrestlers at the Nevada State Wrestling Championships at Primm last Saturday. The three wrestlers were Kekoa Elliot at 160 pounds, TJ Ayers at 170 pounds and Tanner Otteson at 106 pounds.

As I traveled across the Eastern seaboard on my vacation last week, I met many people who didn’t know me but wanted to talk to me because I was wearing a 49ers jacket. I was in Boston and New York with my wife for a friend’s wedding and all that I came in contact with would remark about the Niners and the Patriots not making the Super Bowl.
