The Trojans men’s basketball team played with a lot of heart last Friday at Cheyenne in a loss that was more bearable than the Clark loss on Wednesday. The team scored 40 points to Cheyenne’s 77.
The Lady Hornets came out on top of Lund last Saturday at home in a big way, 40-17. The Hornets have been trying to get everything in sync for league and it seemed to all come together for them against Lund. The girls are 2-4 overall going into league play this weekend.
Saturday with only a full day’s rest, the Trojans made the trip to Mojave High School for “Mojave Mayhem”, where the team took on five teams in Division 1 and Division 1-A in a row. The team went undefeated to finish in first place and become the champs of Mojave Mayhem. They beat Canyon Springs 55-12, Del Sol 52-27, Sierra Vista 61-15, Bonanza 72-3, and Mojave 48-19.
The Beatty Hornets men’s basketball team completely destroyed Lund at home last Friday 87-11. The win came easily for the Hornets, so much so Hornets Coach Joe Serrano said, “I knew we had the game in the bag after the first two minutes of the game,” he said. “We had a 14 point lead to 0 in the first minutes of the game.”
If your horse is acting up, perhaps the best thing for it is to send it to the military for boot camp. In all seriousness, that is usually what happens to young human beings. When they are acting out, we give them more structure by either sending them to boarding school or military school.
