I watch a lot of youth sports. It comes with the territory. As I was watching a youth baseball game, I saw a parent coaching his kid from the sideline. He was screaming at the top of his lungs at his kid, telling him to watch the ball and to take his head out of his butt. He used harsher language.

Trojans track dominated the field in their only home meet and broke two school records. The team ran against Del Sol, Desert Pines, Virgin Valley and Beatty as both boys and girls beat their opponents.
Sophomore Adrianna Sandoval pitched a perfect game to lead Trojans softball to a 21-0 rout of Clark on Wednesday. Sandoval was helped a lot by Pahrump’s great defense.
Beatty traveled down the road to Pahrump to get ready for their regional meet in May. The boys scored 11 points and the girls 15 and both teams finished in fifth place.
The Rosemary Clarke Middle School golf team played its first match of the season against Bob Miller Middle School from Henderson at Mountain Falls Golf Course on Thursday.
Lady Trojans softball seemed flat in their last two games while beating Western 6-1 on Thursday and losing to Sunrise Mountain 5-4 on Friday.
