Las Vegas oldies band, “The Sixties Sensation,” has landed an every-Sunday gig at the Maverick Saloon &Dance Hall. The afternoon to early evening show will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is being called a “sock hop” by band leader Hal Singer.
The Mousetrap, a murder mystery play written by Agatha Christie has been running continuously since it opened in the West End of London in 1952. At well over 25,000 performances it has the longest initial run in history.
A change to the stage performance at the Maverick Saloon & Dance Hall this weekend replaces Eagles cover band “Thirsty Baby Z” with local band Hard Rain. The group will play both tonight and tomorrow night beginning at 8 p.m.
