Their victory was resounding and decisive, with a total Trojans team score of 275 points, versus the number two school, Virgin Valley, at 189 points and Boulder City at 154 points.

Last Friday the Tonopah Muckers men’s basketball team traveled to Las Vegas to face the Adelson School Lions, leader of the Division 4 Southern League, and lost 67-45.

LAS VEGAS — On Feb. 5 the Trojans Wrestling team faced Sierra Vista, Valley and Western High Schools on Sierra’s home mat. Trojans Coach Craig Rieger was very pleased with the wrestlers’ performance. The Trojans came out on top with team scores of Pahrump vs Sierra Vista 65-6; Pahrump vs Western 63-13; and Pahrump vs Valley 72-7. The tourney was a non-conference meet and was a good warm-up for the team before regionals, which start today.
The Lady Muckers are set to play in the playoffs after beating the Adelson School Lions 51-19 last Friday. The win kept them in second place in league play, with just one game left to play in the regular season. The last league game will be an away game on Feb. 14th against Lund.
The Lady Hornets just refuse to quit as they defeated the Indian Springs Thunderbirds 33-27 in a close game.
The Pahrump Valley Trojans men’s basketball team is closing out its season with the last three games of the season this week.
Sydney Sladek will go down as one of the most talented and most honored soccer athletes Pahrump Valley High School has ever known.
